ABOUT ME
ABOUT THE LAND
I acknowledge the Niagara Region I live on is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabeg peoples. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum agreement.
Today the Niagara Region is home to many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples. I, a native to Kyoto, Japan, have lived, worked, and benefited from the great standard of living in Niagara due to the land stewardship those people embody through their way of living, and the unfair and unequal distribution of land and resources forced by settlers.
I am sharing this land acknowledgment as part of my effort to share the truth and to contribute to reconcili-action process in and for “Canada.”

I see supervision and consultation as a reflection and exploration on the way you conduct therapy and alternative ways of doing so. I also foster Safe and Effective Use of Self through exploring and or co-discovering your values, ideas, stance, and so on that are implicit in your clinical work.
